BounceX Raises $37M in Series B Funding

BounceX, a San Francisco, NYC and London-based People-Based Marketing (PBM) cloud, raised $37M in Series B funding.

The round was led by Battery Ventures with participation from existing investors Contour Venture Partners, Cross Creek Capital, Primary Venture Partners, Jason Finger and Rho Ventures. As part of the investment, Neeraj Agrawal, a general partner at Battery Ventures will join the BounceX Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.

Founded in 2012 and led by Ryan Urban, CEO, BounceX provides a People-Based Marketing cloud for brands and publishers to get access to a paid channel outside of Google and Facebook. The company serves over 350 companies, including enterprises such as Uniqlo, Neiman Marcus, Forever21, Samsonite, Hugo Boss, Avis and JetBlue.
Over the next two years, the company is planning to expand to 600 employees globally with a concentration in its NYC and UK offices.
