Smarp, a Helsinki, Finland-based SaaS company connecting employees with professional content, raised €4.2M in funding.
The round was led by Nauta Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Carles Ferrer, General Partner at Nauta Capital, joined the Smarp Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to develop and scale the SaaS solution, to double their headcount to over 100 employees in the next 18 months, expand offices to Europe and North America, focus on R&D and data protection.
Founded in 2011 by Roope Heinilä, CEO, Smarp provides an internal content platform for employee communication, engagement, and advocacy. The company has over 250 customers in over 40 countries such as L’Oreal, European Commission, Valeo and Mulesoft, and international offices in London, Stockholm and New York.
