Fintech Startup Molo Finance Raises £3.7M in Seed Funding

Molo Finance, a London, UK-based fintech startup, raised £3.7m in seed funding.

The round was led by Ubon Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to bring its solutions to the UK market in the summer of 2018.

Led by Francesca Carlesi, CEO, Molo Finance provides a fully digital mortgage solution to transform the outdated mortgage industry for investors, homeowners, and new buyers across the the UK. The company is launching with Buy To Let products only, while adhering to the highest regulatory standards. Molo has initiated the regulatory approval process with the FCA to be able to soon add regulated residential mortgages to our product range.

Carlesi spent almost 15 years in banking across different domains, having started her career in McKinsey and subsequently moved to banking, at Barclays and Deutsche Bank in London, where she held several senior positions.
