TripStack, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of travel tech products, raised $6M in funding.
Backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate development of its solutions.
Led by John Boguslawski, CEO, TripStack is launching a new suite of travel tech products designed to provide Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) with access to many Low Cost Carriers (LCCs) and “Virtual Interline” fares.
EFOE – “Every Flight on Earth” provides OTAs with fast access to LCC that are not available in the three major Global Distribution Systems, or by way of direct API connection. The EFOE API allows the OTAs to start selling these flights in as little as 3 weeks, featuring access to airline ancillary products like baggage & seat selection.
The company also gives customers access to “Virtual Interline” fares, which connect airlines outside of traditional airline agreements. On many routes, these fares are often the least expensive flights and provide the customer with more travel options to reach their end destination.
