VisIC Technologies, a Nes Ziona, Israel-based developer of efficient power electronics based on Gallium Nitride (GaN) semiconductors, closed a $10m Series D round of financing.
The round was led by a private investor.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its development efforts.
Led by Tamara Baksht, founder and CEO, VisIC Technologies develops and sells advanced GaN-based power conversion products. The company has developed, and is bringing to market, high power GaN-based transistors and modules.
VisIC has been granted keystone patents for GaN technology and has additional patents pending.
