Investment Startup Moneybox Secures €15.9M in Series B Funding

Moneybox, a London, UK-based investment startup, secured €15.9m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Eight Roads (the proprietary investment arm of Fidelity International Ltd.) with participation from existing investors Oxford Capital Partners and Samos Investments.

The company, which has raised a total of £21.3m so far, intends to use the funds to build out the team and develop new products and content.

Founded in 2015 in Ben Stanway, Moneybox provides an app that allows people to save as they spend and invest the spare change from £1 in companies such as Netflix, Unilever and Disney via three tracker funds. The app has been used by more than 100,000 people to date.

Moneybox is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
