First Analysis, a Chicago, IL-based mid-stage venture capital firm, closed on its 13th fund, at $91m.
The new fund will continue the firm’s 33-year track record in technology and healthcare investing.
To date, the vehicle has invested in three companies.

1) dynamic investment research on thousands of publicly traded and privately held companies with 2) thousands of relationships among executives, investors, and other key participants in focus areas. The firm helps established companies become leaders in large markets, funding growth plans and working closely with management in areas including strategy, recruitment, sales and marketing, and corporate development. Its flexible approach targets investing $3-10m as lead investor or as a syndicate partner.
