Carbyne, a Tel Aviv, Israel- and New York-based provider of public safety solutions, closed a $15m series B financing.
The round was led by Elsted Capital Partners and joined by strategic investor Founders Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its presence in markets throughout the world while bolstering R&D for their solutions.
Founded in 2014 by CEO Amir Elichai, Carbyne provides a 911/112 call handling platform that sits on a global infrastructure and is supported by an ecosystem which delivers advanced IP-enabled communication features and caller solutions. The Carbyne platform delivers data from any connected device to Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), providing call-takers with precise location to within 10 feet, live video streaming, text, chat capabilities and more.
Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak is Carbyne’s Chairman of the Board and seed investor.
The company also has offices in New York, Mexico, and Kiev.
