Rhumbix, a San Francisco, CA-based mobile platform designed for smarter construction sites, closed an $8m round of funding.
The round was led by Autodesk, Inc., a provider of cloud-based construction project management software connecting teams and data from design through construction.
Led by Zach Scheel, CEO and co-founder, and COO and co-founder Drew DeWalt, Rhumbix provides builders with a mobile app that digitizes and standardizes field data related to time and attendance, production tracking and benchmarking, daily reporting, field work orders, QA/QC inspections, and health and safety reporting. This information is immediately viewable in the Rhumbix web app, where users can track labor productivity and budget versus actual performance each day.
The platform is currently being used by 12 of the ENR Top 30 GCs and Subcontractors in the United States.
