Living Security, an Austin, Texas-based company dedicated to cyber security awareness and training, closed a $500,000 seed funding round.

Backers included Active Capital, Cathexis Ventures, and Pipeline Angels.

The company intends to use the funds for product development, go-to-market execution and team expansion.

Led by Ashley Rose, CEO, Living Security provides security awareness training via their original product, the Living Security Escape Room, which reached thousands of people all over the U.S. The company’s science-based approach aims to drive user engagement and reinforce positive security behaviors, integrate threat intelligence to train on the most relevant user-facing threats and deliver metrics that enable companies to measure the effectiveness of the program.
