Indiana Startup Codelicious Raises $940K in Funding

codeliciousCodelicious, an Indianapolis, Ind.–based computer science curriculum startup, closed a $940k financing round.

Backers included Collina Ventures, GRE Capital and Elevate Ventures, among others.

The company will use the funds to accelerate growth through scaling sales and marketing efforts, building out intellectual property and adding critical personnel.

Led by CEO Christine McDonnell, Codelicious provides a platform – offered through a SaaS subscription model – that enables instructors to build their coding skills while building skills in their students. Utilizing a patent pending technology, the company’s full-semester, interactive, comprehensive skills-building curriculum ensures teachers are always connected with the most current technology.
Currently, Codelicious has 10 paying clients with additional clients in the pipeline.
