Onica, a Los Angeles, CA-based cloud consulting and managed services company, acquired TriNimbus Technologies, a Vancouver, Canada-based DevOps specialist and Premier Consulting Partner in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN).
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Through the acquisition of TriNimbus, Onica gains access to Canada and taps into a pool of custom solution deployment tools that enable engineers to accelerate project success, and which will be added to the Onica Platform library.
Led by Stephen Garden, CEO, the company allows customers to leverage AWS via its expertise spanning solutions such as:
- cloud connected devices;
- serverless application development; and
- migrating some of the world’s largest data center environments onto AWS.
The company is backed by growth equity firm Sunstone Partners.
Co-founded by Jarrod Levitan, now Chief Growth Officer at Onica, and Goran (Kima) Kimovski, who will take on the role of SVP of Global Customer Solutions, TriNimbus is a DevOps service provider and an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Premier Consulting Partner in the AWS Partner Network (APN).
The company expanded coast to coast, opening five offices and launching 10 AWS community user groups to expand skills locally.
