Planday, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based workforce collaboration platform for shift workers, raised €35m in Series C funding.
The round was led by SEB Private Equity, with participation from previous backers, including Creandum and Idinvest.
The company intends to use the funds to develop its software and to expand into new markets across Europe and North America.
Founded in 2013, Planday provides a real-time platform where businesses and employees can collaborate using shift planning, communication, streamlined HR processes, and online & mobile time clocking. It enables employees to communicate with each other, swap shifts and clock in and out while managers in mid-sized businesses get access to reporting and payroll integrations.
The platform integrates with third-party software services including Intuit and Sage, Lightspeed and iZettle.
The company currently serves customers in 39 countries.
