Popular Pays, a Chicago, IL-based operating system for content creation raised $5.5m in funding.
The round was led by Beringea, a global private equity firm providing growth capital to high potential businesses.
The new funding brings the total amount the company has raised since launch to $11.5m.
The company intends to use the funds to scale its sales and product development efforts.
Led by Corbett Drummey, CEO, Popular Pays provides an operating system for content creation. The software allows marketers to access a global community of content creators and workflow tools for full creative and strategic control to create high diverse content at the scale of social. Popular Pays, which has also offices in New York City, has a team of 40.
