Robin Systems, a San Jose, Calif.-based company that brings hyper-converged Kubernetes technology to big data, databases and AI/ML, raised $17m in Series B funding.
The round was led by USAA Ventures with participation from previous investors Hasso Plattner Ventures, Clear Ventures and DN Capital, USAA.
The company, which has raised more than $27m in venture funding, plans to use the funds to promote its Hyper-converged Kubernetes platform to further simplify application deployment and lifecycle management for DevOps and IT.
Founded in 2013 and led by Premal Buch, CEO, Robin Systems provides ROBIN, a hyper-converged Kubernetes based platform, which enables DevOps and IT to shorten tasks from hours and weeks to minutes via a self-service app-store experience and increase efficiency of clustered and distributed complex big data, databases and AI/ML applications.
