Equipsme Raises £2.5M in Series A Funding

-

equipsmeEquipsme, a London, UK-based SME health insurance plans provider, raised £2.5m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Livingbridge via funds from the Baronsmead Venture Trusts, with participation from a number of angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to scale up distribution channels, focusing on 95% of companies which don’t offer private medical insurance.

Led by Matthew Reed, managing director, Equipsme allows businesses with two to 249 employees to provide health support plans to the whole of their workforce. Every plan holder receives a home health check and has 24/7 access to a private GP service. Diagnosis and treatment are provided by private health insurance provider AXA PPP.
