Kids’ Meal Brand Yumble Raises $7M in Series A Funding

-

yumblekidsYumble, a NYC-based healthy kids’ meal brand, raised $7m in Series A funding.

The round, which brought total funding raised to date to $8.5m, was led by Sonoma Brands with participation from Danone Manifesto Ventures, Wharton Professor Martin Lautman, RiverPark Ventures, Launch Capital and Apple Core.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its marketing efforts for national expansion and to continue to build out the team for product development and product line expansion.

Co-founded by David Parker and Joanna Parker, Yumble aims to help parents shape positive, healthy children’s eating habits without cooking but sourcing seasonal, local, and organic (whenever possible) meals including a wide variety of nutrient-dense vegetables, grains, proteins, fats, herbs, and spices.
The company ships kid-friendly lunches, dinners, and snacks to homes each week starting at $6.99 per meal (with free delivery).
