Lyrical Partners, an investment management firm headquartered in NYC, has launched Lytical Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm focused exclusively on opportunities in Corporate Intelligence.
The first $60mm fund has just held a first close, with over $20m in commitments, anchored by Lyrical Partners.
Led by Lucas Nelson and Steve Berg, who joined from Evolution Equity and Antecedent Ventures, respectively, the firm will focus on:
– Cybersecurity,
– Big Data, and
– Artificial Intelligence.
Nelson and Berg will be supported by, among others, Roselle Safran, who joins as an Entrepreneur in Residence, and by Jeremy Kroll and Tuvia Barak, who join as Venture Partners.
Lytical Ventures will have its own investment, operational, and strategic resources and will benefit of the resources of the Lyrical Partners platform and a soon to be announced advisory board, comprising distinguished strategic and technical advisors from among the world’s leading enterprises.
Founded in 2004 by Jeff Keswin, Lyrical Partners is an investment management firm which invests in and manage over $10 billion in private equity, real estate, traditional equity, venture and hedge funds.
