OneOncology, a Nashville, Tenn.-based partnership of independent community oncology practices and finance and technology experts, received an investment from General Atlantic.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Led by Tracy Bahl, President & Chief Executive Officer, OneOncology empowers community oncology practices by supporting the entire continuum of care, including prevention and diagnosis, research and treatment, long-term survivorship, and palliative and hospice care.
The company is a combination of three practices. They include:
– Tennessee Oncology, led by Dr. Jeff Patton, CEO,
– New York Cancer & Blood Specialists, led by Dr. Jeff Vacirca, CEO, and
– West Cancer Center, led by Dr. Lee Schwartzberg, Executive Director.
OneOncology unites more than 225 oncology providers, over 60 care locations, and aims to treat nearly 158,000 cancer patients every year. The company also announced that it will leverage Flatiron’s suite of services to provide access to key clinical and operational data and the latest research via a connected, national, cloud-based network.
