PrimaryBid, a London, UK-based online platform that enables retail investors to gain access to discounted equity offerings of publicly listed companies, raised £2m in funding.
The round was led by funds managed by Lombard Odier, family offices and a series of angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its pan European expansion plan.
Led by Anand Sambasivan, co-founder and CEO, PrimaryBid gives retail investors exclusive opportunities to buy shares in quoted companies across the Eurozone at discounted rates. To date, more than £56m has been sourced via the company’s platform.
