Sprout, an all-in-one CRM and marketing software company for marijuana dispensaries and cannabis brands, received a strategic investment from MariMed, Inc. (OTCQB: MRMD), a Newton, MA-based professional cannabis organization that develops cannabis facilities and brands of cannabis infused products in multiple states throughout the US.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
MariMed intends to accelerate the growth of Sprout’s client base by marketing it to the top dispensaries and cannabis companies in the United States.
Led by CEO Jaret Christopher, Sprout provides CRM and marketing automation software that combines technology, data and content to allow dispensaries and cannabis brands to increase sales, improve customer loyalty and reach more customers.
MariMed is a multi-state professional cannabis organization that develops, owns and manages cannabis facilities and branded products lines. Its team has developed regulatory-compliant facilities in DE, IL, NV, MD, MA, and RI. MariMed currently distributes its branded products in select states and is expanding licensing and distribution to numerous additional markets encompassing thousands of dispensaries.
