Bessemer Venture Partners Launches $1.85 Billion Early-Stage Fund

bvpBessemer Venture Partners, a global early-stage venture capital firm, launched a new $1.85 billion fund.

Led by 14 partners, who will carry on the tradition of investing as one fund from its offices in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, New York City, Boston, Israel, and India, BVP X will invest from $50k to $100m in early-stage (seed, Series A and Series B) tech companies and support them at every stage of their growth.
Areas of expertise and experience span consumer, enterprise to healthcare and software to hardware in existing and innovative industries.

Bessemer Venture Partners has a portfolio of more than 200 companies, including Pinterest, Betterment, Smule, Rocket Lab, Procore, PagerDuty, Intercom, Fiverr, ServiceTitan, Toast, and Bright Health.

The firm has also backed more than 120 IPOs, including Shopify, Yelp, LinkedIn, Skype, LifeLock, Twilio, SendGrid, DocuSign, Wix, and MindBody.

Acquired companies include Lifelock by Symantec; SendGrid by Twilio (pending); Intaact by Sage; Glint by LinkedIn; PhishMe by a private equity consortium; Leaba Semiconductor by Cisco; CloudLock by Cisco; and iSight by FireEye.
