Hubb, a Vancouver, Wash.-based developer of event management technology, raised a $6.3m Series B funding round.
The round, brings total funding to $10m, was led by Five Elms Capital with participation from follow-on investment from Oregon Venture Fund and Elevate Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Joe Onofrio from Five Elms Capital joined the board.
The company intends to use the funds to scale its business, develop additional event content and meeting management solutions, along with business intelligence tools, and hire staff in development, sales, customer support and marketing.
Led by Allie Magyar, founder and CEO, Hubb provides event management solutions and business intelligence tools that bring innovation and data-driven decision making to the events industry. Its cloud-based software platform uses automated workflows to streamline collecting, managing and marketing event content, as well as facilitating sales pipeline growth with meetings management and data analytics.
The company works with key clients such as Microsoft, Atlassian, Tableau Software, Biotechnology Innovation Association and the Consumer Technology Association (CES).
