Infraspeak, an Oporto, Portugal-based maintenance management software startup, raised €1.6m in funding.
The round was led by Firstminute Capital, Innovation Nest, Construtech Ventures, 500 Startups and Caixa Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand into new markets and reinforce the team.
Founded by Felipe Ávila da Costa and Luís Martins in 2015, Infraspeak develops a customizable, modular platform designed to make facility management smart by using innovative technologies such as NFC, APIs, apps and sensors.
Global customers include Siemens, Domino’s Pizza and Intercontinental Hotels, among others.
Within the next few months, the company will expand its operations in the United Kingdom, Spain and France.
