People.ai Raises $30M in Series B Funding

People.ai LogoPeople.ai, a San Francisco, CA-based artificial intelligence (AI) platform for enterprise revenue, raised $30M in Series B funding.

The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, GGV Capital, and Y Combinator. In conjunction with the funding, Peter Levine, General Partner at a16z, will join the People.ai board.

The company intends to use the funds for data science efforts, continued commercial expansion, and customer acquisition.

Founded in 2016 by CEO Oleg Rogynskyy, People.ai provides sales, marketing and customer success teams with a platform to uncover every revenue opportunity from every customer.
Companies like Palo Alto Networks, New Relic, Tanium, Lyft, Okta, and Mulesoft use the company’s platform to capture all customer contacts, activity and engagement to drive actionable insights across all Enterprise revenue.
