Qordoba, a San Francisco, CA-based UX content management platform, raised $11.5m in Series B funding.
The round, which brought total funding raised to date to $21m, was led by Aspect Ventures, with participation from Upfront Ventures, Rincon Ventures, Broadway Angels and Michael Stoppelman, the co-founder of Yelp.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate development of “EQ-AI”, which uses deep learning models to help computers understand human emotion in text.
Co-founded by May Habib and Waseem Alshikh, Qordoba has developed technology that allows product and content strategy teams to manage UX copy on an integrated platform, where they can measure emotion, brand adherence, language style and tone of content.
Customers including Visa, Marriott, Conde Nast, the NBA, Postmates and Sephora use the platform to continuously optimize and deliver UI content for consistent and personalized user experiences across mobile, web and embedded applications.
