WiredScore Secures $9M in Series A Funding

wiredscoreWiredScore, a New York City-based provider of a digital connectivity rating system for commercial real estate buildings, secured $9m in Series A funding.

Backers included Bessemer Venture Partners, Fifth Wall, Sterling.VC, Legal & General, KingSett Capital, U+I, Town Centre Securities, MOMENI Digital Ventures and Savitt Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to expand geographically and vertically into new product and service areas.

Led by Arie Barendrecht, Founder and CEO, WiredScore is the organization behind Wired Certification, a digital connectivity rating system for commercial real estate that allows landlords to design and promote buildings with digital connectivity.
The recognized Wired Certification seal is a trusted symbol that identifies buildings that have been independently certified to provide connectivity infrastructure that businesses require.

WiredScore now works with more than 450 landlords and developers globally including EQ Office, Brookfield, Hines, Tishman Speyer, Boston Properties, Jamestown, Columbia Property Trust and Google.
