Genesis, a London, UK-based international capital markets software company, raised $3m in Series A funding.
Backers included Illuminate Financial and Tribeca Angels.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Founded in 2015 by Stephen Murphy and James Harrison, genesis has built a microservices technology framework designed specifically for the world of capital markets.
This microservices framework allows clients from buy-side, sell-side, execution venues and clearing houses to develop and deploy a range of agile and scalable products and solutions quickly and efficiently.
