Jane Technologies, a Santa Cruz, California-based creator of iheartjane.com, an ecommerce marketplace for the cannabis industry, secured $6m in Series A funding.
The investors were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to bring dispensaries both the latest technological advances and data analytics, while optimizing the shopping experience for consumers.
Jane Technologies is a retail tech company that has created iheartjane.com — a cannabis industry online marketplace. which allows users to browse local products in real-time, compare by price, proximity or popularity and place orders at local stores for free.
Jane has a large real-time inventory catalog, with more than 70,000 products, and features real-time integration into any existing point-of-sale (POS) system. The marketplace has expanded to nearly 500 dispensaries across 19 states.
