The round was led by Active Capital, with participation from Cathexis Ventures and Capital Factory. In conjunction with the funding, Pat Matthews, founder and CEO of Active Capital, joined Living Security’s board of directors.

The company will use these funds for continued product growth and go-to-market execution.

Led by Ashley Rose, CEO, Living Security works to reduce cyber risk through human-focused training. Their science-based approach drives user engagement and reinforces positive security behaviors, integrates threat intelligence to train on the most relevant user-facing threats and delivers metrics that enable companies to measure the effectiveness of the program.

The company’s original product, the Living Security Escape Room, reached thousands of people all over the U.S., and recently launched Cyber Escape, a security awareness training platform.

Living Security is now working with over 50 companies, many of which are in the Fortune 500.
