Lora DiCarlo, a Bend, Oregon-based brand that provides tech products tackling the “taboo” topic of vagina-specific orgasms, raised $1.1m in research, engineering, and product development funding.
The Oregon Opportunity Zone Limited Partnership provided the financial resources.
The funding will support product development, intellectual property protection, and a full unveiling of Osé at the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2019.
Led by Lora Haddock, founder and CEO, Lora DiCarlo provides Osé, a microrobotic sexual stimulator for hands-free blended orgasms. Working in partnership with Oregon State University researchers, the female engineering team at Lora DiCarlo used biomimicry to translate human mouth, tongue, and finger-like haptics into microrobotic mechanisms that feel like a human partner.
Osé adjusts to each woman’s unique physiology for a personal fit that facilitates the achieviement of the orgasm.
