Amplitude, a San Francisco, CA-based product intelligence company, raised $80m in Series D funding.
The round, raised at an $850M valuation, was led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from Lead Edge and existing investors Benchmark Capital, IVP and Battery Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Sequoia partner Pat Grady joined Amplitude’s Board of Directors.
The company will use this new funding to further scale its operations globally and build new solutions for digital product leaders to achieve systematic business growth.
Led by Spenser Skates, CEO, Amplitude provides a product intelligence platform that enables companies to use insights from customer behavior data in digital properties to understand user experience, ship impactful features and campaigns, and run their digital product portfolios.
The company now serves more than 26,000 customers, including Microsoft, Under Armour, Intuit, Twitter, Bonobos and Peloton and employs 230 people in SF, New York, Seattle, Austin, London, Paris, and Singapore.
