datacampDataCamp, a NYC-based data science and analytics learning platform, received a growth investment led by Spectrum Equity.

The round, which reportedly amounted to $25m, saw the participation from existing investors Accomplice and Arthur Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its data science and analytics curriculum to reach advanced users and invest in product innovation to personalize the learning experience and expand DataCamp for Business.

Led by CEO Jonathan Cornelissen, DataCamp provides a data science and analytics learning platform which allows users to learn continuously from top data science instructors. And they learn by doing — applying each lesson immediately, and responding to instant feedback.

The company has over 3.3 million users in more than 180 countries, and serves over 1,000 business customers.
Customers include Uber, Facebook, HSBC, Telefonica, and Kaiser Permanente.
