GuestReady, a London, UK-based Airbnb management company, acquired Portuguese platform Oporto City Flats, and has taken over the property portfolio of French company We Stay In Paris.
The amount of the deals were not disclosed.
Launched in 2016, GuestReady uses a technology-first approach to streamline and automate processes required in short-term lettings for guests and hosts. Hosts have at their disposal 24/7 support on guest communication, personalized welcomes, concierge services during guest stays, hotel quality linen and towels, and other amenities. The same service is offered for properties listed through Booking.com and HomeAway.
The company, which operates across six countries, uses a tech-first approach to streamline the operations of running short-lets in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Paris, Cannes, Porto, Lisbon, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, and Hong Kong.
The acquisition of Oporto City Flats and take over of the Parisian portfolio brings the company’s property list to over 1,000. The company is currently in talks of expanding operations to other markets.
GuestReady’s senior team – led by Alexander Limpert, CEO – consists largely of former Rocket Internet executives. To date, it has raised a total of $3.7m from angel investors and seed stage funds such as Impulse VC, Swiss Founders Fund (SFF), Boost Heroes, and Senn & Partners.
