Carson, a New York City-based creator of an integrated technology platform and service for unstaffed residential buildings, raised $3m in seed financing.
The round was led by BuildingLink.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of new features with enhanced capabilities, with broader geographic reach.
Founded in 2017 by property management software veteran Guy Blachman (following the acquisition of his previous ActiveBuilding/MyBuilding venture in 2013 by RealPage), Carson provides a technology platform for managing multiple unstaffed residential properties.
The mobile application and integrated front door panel enables property managers and residents to communicate, make payments, manage visitors & guests, view live cameras, open all integrated doors at the property, and receive deliveries and packages utilizing the 24/7 Carson remote service center.
