district m, a Montreal, Canada-based advertising technology company, secured $12m in second funding.
This round, wich brings the total amount invested over the last two and a half years to $20m, comprised an entry investment of $9m from Investissement Québec (IQ) and a new investment of $3m from the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, a financial partner since 2016.
The company intends to use the funds for AI developments, international expansion and talent acquisition.
Led by JF Côté, co-founder and CEO, district m is an advertising exchange that creates open, transparent marketplaces through which publishers and advertisers can connect. Since inception, the company has served as a monetization partner to 2,500 publishers globally.
