Fiix, a Toronto, Canada-based maintenance and asset management software provider, closed a $40m USD Series C funding.
The round was led by Georgian Partners, with participation from previous investor BuildGroup. In conjunction with the funding, Simon Chong, Managing Partner at Georgian Partners, has joined Fiix’ board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue scaling the company’s go-to-market capacity and make key investments in technology, exploring new technological trends, including AI, IoT and predictive maintenance capabilities.
Led by James Novak, CEO, Fiix is a provider of a cloud-based maintenance and asset management software platform that allows businesses to plan and schedule their maintenance in order to increase production and decrease unplanned downtime—essential factors for end-users in production and equipment-intensive verticals, such as manufacturing, energy, and construction.
