Filevine, a Provo, UT-based provider of legal case management software, raised $8.3M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Signal Peak Ventures (SPV) with participation from existing investors Peak Ventures and Jonathan Ord, Dealersocket founder.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development, and sales and marketing efforts.
Led by Ryan Anderson, Co-Founder and practicing lawyer, Filevine provides a cloud-based legal case management software platform that combines lawyer collaboration, client communication, and legal operational analytics into a single platform.
Features include text-to-case-file, threaded tasks, auto-tagging, and reports.
The company serves 1,000-law firms.
