Houwzer, a Philadelphia, Pa.-based real estate tech company, raised $4.5m in an extension of its seed funding.
Backers included:
– Ben Franklin Capital Partners,
– Admiral Capital Group, and
– Ira Lubert, founder of private equity firm LLR Partners.
The company will use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Mike Maher, Co-Founder & CEO, Houwzer is a real estate brokerage agency reimagining every aspect of the home buying and selling experience by providing homeowners a full service at a fair price.
The company’s brokerage model leverages technology and a team of listing agents, who support sellers from consultation to closing, and salaried realtors, who support buyers to find home for them.
