Agilis Systems, a Chesterfield, MO-based provider of SaaS telematics and tracking solutions enabling businesses to manage their mobile fleets and most valuable assets, received an investment from Spectrum Equity.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. In conjunction with Spectrum Equity’s investment, Drew Reynolds, experienced IoT and telematics executive, will join Agilis Systems’ board of directors, along with Vic Parker, Jake Heller and Adam Gassin from Spectrum Equity.
The company intends to use the funds to extend its leadership position among small and mid-sized fleets and expand its tracking solutions across additional vertical markets.
Led by CEO Paul Inman, Agilis provides fleet and asset tracking solutions tailored to the needs of small to mid-sized service companies and fleets through brands including such as Linxup, AwareGPS and MOTOsafety.
The company employs an intuitive platform that collects billions of real-time data points every month, directly allowing customers to reduce fuel costs, improve employee safety and compliance, prevent theft and boost productivity.
Key features include track and trace, geofencing, diagnostic trouble codes, event-based alerts, temperature monitoring and driver safety scoring.
Agilis currently tracks more than 165,000 devices for more than 45,000 customers.
