Standout Capital Acquires Majority Stake in VisBook

visbookStandout Capital has acquired a majority stake in VisBook, a Kvikne/Oppdal Norway and Gothenburg Sweden-based provider of property management systems for hotels, activity centers and camping sites.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

With Standout Capital as a new majority owner, the company will increase resources to accelerate its long-term growth plan.

Founded by Øystein Selbekk and Kåre Mjøen, who will remain as significant shareholders, VisBook provides a cloud-based property management system functioning as a core system for the customers’ daily operations and handling a range of operational and administrative tasks, including booking, CRM, Point of Sale, invoicing and accounting.
The company has 36 employees and serves roughly 800 customers, primarily based in Norway and Sweden,

Standout Capital is a Stockholm-based private equity firm investing in growing Nordic tech companies through the Standout Capital I fund, whose size is SEK 1 billion.
