Blue Cedar Raises $17m in Series B Financing

bluecedarBlue Cedar, a San Francisco, CA-based mobile app security integration platform, raised $17m in Series B financing.

The round was anchored by new investor C5 Capital, a specialist venture capital firm focused on cyber security, data analytics and cloud computing, with participation from existing investors Benhamou Global Ventures (BGV), Generation Ventures, Grayhawk Capital and Sway Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Daniel Freeman, C5 Capital Managing Partner, will join Blue Cedar’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to:
– accelerate growth,
– further enhance its cloud-native platform, and
– advance its goal of automating the critical function of adding rich security controls into corporate mobile apps.

Led by John Aisien, CEO, Blue Cedar is a mobile app security integration platform for organizations who need to continuously integrate security controls into their into mobile, IoT and other edge apps through an automated, no-code, enterprise grade solution.
