Capdesk Raises £1.5M in Funding

-

capdeskCapdesk, a London UK- and Copenhagen, Denmark-based equity management platform, raised £1.5m in funding.

Backers included Fuel Ventures and angels.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.

Founded by Christian Gabriel and Casper Arboll, Capdesk is an equity management platform that digitizes and provides liquidity to the billions of pounds’ worth of employee shares in unlisted European companies.
The system allows companies to digitize all their equity information (such as cap tables, shareholder register, or vesting schedules) to ensure they always have accurately updated and securely stored data about their equity structure. By extension, this means companies can present this information to investors and employees.
The product is sold through Capdesk’s website, and tailors its price to the profile of each client.

Since its launch in 2015, the company has attracted thousands of users in the UK and abroad, including Nutmeg, Secret Escapes and MarketInvoice.

The team also includes CTO Mikkel Boje and CIO Martin Damhus.
