Astound, a Menlo Park, Calif.-based enterprise software company that uses AI to re-imagine and improve employee service, raised $15.5m in Series B financing.
The round, which brought the total amount raised to date to $27m, was led by March Capital Partners, with participation from previous investors Vertex Ventures, Pelion Venture Partners, Moment Ventures, and the Slack Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate innovation and hire talent.
Led by Naghi Prasad, PhD, Chief Executive Officer, and Dan Turchin, Chief Product Officer, Astound is an enterprise software company that develops an AI platform for employee service. The platform uses machine learning and natural language processing to automate IT and HR service and support.
The company has partnered with workflow platform providers like ServiceNow and Atlassian plus managed service providers like Infosys to deliver deep integrations with IT service management, HR case management, knowledge management, Customer Service Management (CSM), and social collaboration solutions.
