Computer Aided Technology, a Buffalo Grove, Illinois-based provider of 3D design and engineering solutions, received an investment from CIVC Partners.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
CIVC Partners made the investment in partnership with the management team.
The partnership will support the companys’s continued growth, both organically and through acquisitions.
Led by President Rich Werneth, Computer Aided Technology is a provider of 3D design and engineering solutions across the product development continuum, including 3D CAD, 3D CAE, PDM and PLM software, 3D printing and scanning hardware, and other related technologies and consulting, training and support services.
Its entire management team will remain in place following the investment and will maintain a meaningful ownership position in the company.
