Coupa Software (NASDAQ: COUP), a San Mateo, CA-based business spend management (BSM) company, is to acquire Exari, a provider of contract lifecycle management (CLM).
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition will extend Coupa’s existing contract management capabilities and reinforce its strategy of providing applications that maximize the value of the core transactional spend captured in its BSM Platform.

The proposed acquisition is expected to close during Coupa’s fiscal second quarter, subject to the satisfaction of regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
