GrubMarket Raises $25M in Funding

grubmarketGrubMarket, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a farm-to-table food delivery service, raised $25m in Series C1 funding.

The round, raised at a post-money of approx. $255m, was led by WI Harper Group and Digital Garage, with participation from other new investors Evolv Ventures, University Growth Fund, Arancia International, CentreGold Capital and existing investors ACE & Company, GGV Capital, Fusion Fund, Bascom Ventures, and other unnamed participants.

The company, which has raised $89m in total funding, intends to use the funds to grow its presence and product offerings through both geographic and product expansion.

Led by Mike Xu, CEO and founder, GrubMarket is a platform that sources local food directly from producers and delivers it directly to businesses and consumers. The company work with a variety of farms and artisan producers to bring foods and other items at prices that are up to 50% off what consumers would typically find at other premium grocers.
