Acendre, a Richmond, Victoria-based provider of cloud-based talent management software for government agencies and companies operating in regulated industries, acquired ICS Learning Group, a Pasadena, Maryland-based provider of e-learning training solutions.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The combined solution will deliver to the regulated industry a secure end-to-end talent management solution.
Led by Ed Gipple, CEO, ICS Learning Group delivers e-learning training solutions including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and custom courseware development to customers in the manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, pharmaceutical markets as well as for government sectors.
The flagship product, Asentia LMS, has been designed to blend the most advanced eLearning technology with time-tested conventional training methods, all within a rich learning ecosystem that fosters collaboration and communication.
Led by Mike Giuffrida, CEO, Acendre is a provider of cloud-based talent management software that allows organizations in regulated industries to enhance their workforces by providing data and insight to manage complex workflows and interoperability challenges.
The company serves both public and private sectors, including government, education, healthcare, utilities and mining.
The acquisition of ICS Learning Group comes five months after a majority equity investment by Strattam Capital in Acendre to accelerate growth and advance its Software as a Service (SaaS) talent management platform.
