Blackbullion, a London, UK-based edtech startup, raised £400K in post-seed funding.
The round, which brought total funding raised to date to £1m, was led by Lord Stanley Fink, who will also join Blackbullion’s board as Chairman, with participation from MPA Education, Emerge Education and Jisc.
The company intends to use the funds for new product development and expansion if its existing solutions for universities.
Founded by Vivi Friedgut in 2014, Blackbullion provides students with an online learning platform to develop their financial literacy for life whilst institutions in which they study benefit from enhancing their recruitment and access initiatives.
The company currently partners with universities in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand to give over 500,000 students financial education for free.
