Arlington Capital Partners Closes Latest Fund, at $1.7 Billion

private equityArlington Capital Partners, a Chevy Chase, MD-based private equity investment firm focused on government-regulated sectors, raised its latest fund, with total capital commitments of approximately $1.7 billion.

Arlington Capital Partners V, L.P.’s fundraise reached its final closing in three months from its launch with capital commitments coming from a diverse group of public pension funds, corporate pension funds, insurance companies, fund of funds, and foundations.

Fund V will continue Arlington’s strategy of targeting high-growth government-related sectors.
Since April 2018, the firm has realized on seven portfolio companies, invested in five new platforms and closed on seven new strategic add-on acquisitions.

Founded over twenty years ago, Arlington is private equity firm that has managed approximately $4.0 billion of committed capital via five investment funds, focused on middle market investment opportunities in government related growth industries including: aerospace and defense, government services and technology, healthcare, and business services and software. So far, it has completed over 90 acquisitions.
